Well my guess with that is the pollution is coming from the tailings that you pointed out which were located on the sea side, not wholly the pit. See now youre getting it! I did say the pit water could be a concern to pump out to sea without treatment. Im ever more sure not it may well have to be treated now.
Do we know if the only pollutants are Zinc and Lead. I can't seem to find the environmental reports to get the full detail for myself Thats the odd thing. Theres not much about.
As you found "Transport of lead and zinc from the pit water to the fjord" So I was right! So if the pit water may need treatment to inspect the sea wall isnt fracturing into aquifer. How could it be done and like Cat said. Is there anything else toxic in the mine?
