I found the pit pipe! can you see it? We have been told is somewhere in the sea wall and it sure sounded like it wasnt at the top. Well it was right where I kept saying. Right up the top and only allowing the top tidal water to flow in and out within a cove that doesnt look like it would get much Fjord direct flow really. That is if the pipe is kept open as apparently it can be closed. I am wondering if it is being kept closed permanently at the moment. It made more sense it would be right at the top then anywhere else down the wall. As you couldnt install underwater pressure ducts against a sea a hundred years ago for an old mine like this surely. It sounded so illogical. Im quite happy with that So now we know the pics on the EPM site showing the pit was empty isnt accurate as to its current state and a tad misleading as you therefore couldnt see the problem we have discovered. There is a pollution problem (see Lead and Zinc thread) where for 3-4 kms some marine life are unfit for human consumption 40 years later. We know that a pipe used for emptying it doesnt look true either. Its just a tidal overflow pipe that may or may not be closed. Im doing well thus far
