Well I don't think anyone on this thread knows where the water comes from exactly, JORC report from a Geologist will answer that bit we can speculate. Maybe it's from melted ice and snow

probably want to check the mining license application and work plan for how EPM will deal with the pumping out of the pit. Again tenement us much larger than just the one pit, they may ignore it entirely as I've said before. That's my answer for the 2nd and 3rd para. I'd add that the engineering requirements will be in the license and the work plan.

EPMs plan with ivittuut could be to explore Auatralia, make some profits and then explore invittuut at a later date, and sit on it for a few years without going into full production. Maybe they want to explore the tailings on a small scale to keep it ticking. Maybe they are going to dig out absolutely everything from day dot and have the most commercialised mine in Greenland

its amusing that you have asked valid questions, since some of the questions asked, on a speculation stock. We don't have answers now, none of us have set foot in ivittuut and have studied where the water in the pit is from and how deep the tailings are, that's what EPM will put in a JORC though.

Nro do me and yourself a favour and comment on another one of EPM tenements, have a look at Devils Elbow briefly. Chuck up a few questions in a new thread. I'm sure there's issues with Devils Elbow, or Rock Hill, or Mary Valley. Just do it once, since I've tried to answer directly what you asked in my view.
