Hi taylor24. Yes it is a difficulty.
Part of the ambiguity is created because the data is rounded out to the nearest 100,000 barrel figure.
So actual total on a given day could be above the . figure or below the . figure by several 10s of thousands barrels
Eg a figure of 8.3 mbo could really be (say) 8,330,000 bo or it could down around (say) 8,255,000 bo.
So there could be a whole day and a half production discrepancy in the real figure which is disguised by the rounded figure.
So we have to be careful not to take the rounded figure too literally for production. I would like to think that the figure given for actual shipped amount would be pretty much on the button but that may be rounded as well.
