Just thinking on selling my penoa to lock in a 46% loss today, and buying back in on July 1. Obviously under normal circumstances, this is termed 'share washing' and illegal, but just wondering if anyone would have any idea whether the change in tax year makes this sort of share washing legal. Neither ATO nor my accountant are returning calls at the mo!
