10 years ago while other sponsors were dropping him like a sack of turds, others waited and saw opportunity.
Not long ago one of the premier motorcycle companies in India, signed him up. They're called Hero MotoCorp and yup....they're into electric.
Check this out from their "equity and investments":
"HMC invested US$ 30.5 million (Rs. 205 crore) as Series B round of funding in October 2016 and gained a 32.31% stake in Ather Energy, a startup company manufacturing electric scooters. It invested a further US$ 19 million (Rs. 130 crore) in 2018.[21][22]"
