Translation: We are in deep sht.

"Strategic" - I can't tell you how sick I am of hearing this word.
Translation: We have no idea what to say. In business school we've heard the word "strategy". It sounds impressive. Lets use it, even though all our other "strategic" moves during the last decade turned out to be disastrous.

"another challenging year"
Translation: Business as usual. We are seeking out another challenge.

"non-cash charges"
Translation: We paid too much for stuff during good times. Our capital allocation skills suck.

"forward earnings"
Translation: Pie in the sky profits.

"underlying EBITDA"
Translation: We'll rather not show you the bottom line.

"unlock shareholder value"
Translation: We lost your investment money.

"innovative"
Translation: An over-used buzzword on Linkedin.

"leading edge technology solution software"
Translation: A new piece of untested computer code.
