I started buying gold in 2002, hold 15% of original position. Concern is back 2006 during deep correction, everyone said gold bull market typically lasts 10yrs. We are now at the 10yrs mark. Some say no blow off top, but 70s was an inflationary period. What does a blow off top look like in a period of debt deflation? Maybe the run to 1930 was the blow off top. I certainly remember 2011, having a beer with some tradies in NZ, who own nil shares and any investment funds would go into property saying gold is the place to be, gold was in 1300s at time. The Hui breaking down is signalling lower prices ahead. I would be very cautious with leveraged longs.
