Given the track record of this management team, why on earth would anyone invest ?
I'd let the chairman keep buying, if you hold on to your stock long enough it might go up as he tightens the register.
Seriously though, it has been involved with the DR project for well over a decade and what have the returns to shareholders been ? Why will this be different with a project in Cuba where the state retains a major stake and doesn't have the cash to contribute.
This company appears to me to be more about a vanity project for the Chairman. The executive chairman and executive director have been involved with this company now for 15-16 years and seen massive value destruction for shareholders...yet between them still have the audacity to pull in around $700k per annum.
Good luck with your investment, but at this point there is no reason to see it trade higher, other than the Chairman buying more.
