Following last week's announcement with regard to our board rewarding the CEO with a bonus (albeit $50k) for once again reducing our holding in our best performing asset Payble, is it time we demand accountability?
Our CEO is on a salary package of around $520k.
The patent infringement claim appears to be our only hope with this stock and exists because of the work of the original founders.
I can't think of anything material that this current management has done over the last 3 or 4 years. I don't believe cutting costs is anything extraordinary.
With a market cap moving between $6-8m, without a growing revenue, how can this continue without some sort of board shake up.
Maybe some things are out of their hands. Austrac reporting has been slow with regards to being seriously enforced. However, reducing our majority holding in our best performing asset to just 10% seemingly to just keep paying the excessive salaries, seems unjustified.
I am baffled by Cameron Beavis moving to more than 37% shareholding. What is he up to and wouldn't he want a board position to have some sort of influence on his investment?
What is Fred Bart thinking? A year ago he gave the board a 249D notice and was looking to shake the board up. I believe he is still holding so his intentions are also a mystery.
As retail shareholders, we can vote against some of the resolutions but really have little say in the happenings here. We need contact with Beavis or Bart. Bart should have made contact with shareholders last year.
A settlement with the patent infringement claim would make all the difference but the market seems to think it's a long shot.
Can we trust the board to act in our best interests in the event of a settlement given the way they are looking after themselves while most of us are suffering?
For any holders that timed their purchase here and are up, well done. For the rest of us , we are likely to see diminishing funds in the quarterly and our hopes will be on this ever so slow Delaware patent infringement claim.
Apologies for another negative post. I badly want this company to give me a reason to say something positive.
