On everything that has been reported so far, this deal should go through in the middle of next year at the numbers quoted. So if those numbers look good to you (they do to me) then why wouldn't you continue to hold? It will probably be nine months or so away. It will be business as usual at Tatts and Tabcorp until then with the usual dividends. The share price will fluctuate - because that is what the stock market does. If you think you can do better elsewhere now, then sell out and put the cash into the stock you want to.
