Hi everyone,

I don't own shares in CTO, but have read Speculator by David Haselhurst in the past (and even right up to the present), and since reading about CTO, I googled their past annnual reports in PDF format.

At the very end of their report in 2005, they list a Michelle Yan as the writer of the AGM report, but I would like to draw your attention to the person who is the Metallurgical officer who would normally be an INDEPENDENT officer who verified findings (gold or other resources), but in Citigold case, "Christopher Alan John Towsey is a geologist and employed by CTO as Chief Operating Officer".

This may not sound right. Most ASX companies usually have an independent chap who would confirm what's in the ground. We don't want a technical person with vested interest with the company to do that.

Please do your own research - take 30 minutes and study the thing. What they say in 2005 is still yet to materialize. Better to be safe, and I would like to borrow a line from my settlement agent, "Buyers beware".
