We have reviewed a broad range of new venture opportunities including both 2
producing/development acquisitions and exploration farm-ins. Unfortunately the quality and
number of attractive deals has restricted success in acquiring a new venture - largely
vindicated by the poor well results of farmout offerings in which we did not participate.
However, I am pleased to report that the Company is currently progressing a deal which, if
completed, should result in participation in a very attractive exploration well in early 2012.
