Good comment. Having said that, the US sounds like max out the existing credit card and apply for a bigger credit card.

It will takes generations to repay all its debt. Or that would be a war where some country take control of US land?

Else, no one would ever lend to US, and US can start their money printing machine running again - effectively create a bigger debt.
