I would have said the same thing about more a complicated product. Until Weber came out with their Weber Q and 27 different versions and accessories. They appeared everywhere, everyone I know seemed to have one .. not cheap either.
Doubt that BBQ's will be the making or breaking of SHM, regardless distribution is their bread and butter so I expect they will manage the supply/demand side OK.
