They had flagged this rights issue in the last Q report. It can't have came as a surprise to you.

As for the Cominco valuation, Steve B did say the information came from Vic... (no surprise that didn't materialise)

Vic is going to pick up a large % of this company for a song (has the right to subscribe for up to 40m shares in this rights issue) maybe there is method in his madness.. Watch the positive annoucements flow..
