I love finland too. They are quite straightforward. They certainly love a party (but so do Russians) and the country may be flat but it’s stunning. I had friends who fell in love with the country and bought an historic building in ivalo which they renovated. It ended up looking like some cross between and Australian and Finnish house. I went on a trip to an island that was property of a Sammi group where I foolishly thought a dip in the river might be as interesting as the scenery. Now that was far from boring.
