    I only support donations getting tax relief that help people irrespective of their beliefs and not for promoting a doctrine. I chose Christianity as it's multi-billion (maybe multi-trillion?) dollar organisations are aimed at spreading doctrine.

    I conceded that part of their funds raised from donations are used to help people (including upholding human rights), and that there is a case to get tax breaks for these.

    I would not support atheist donations getting tax breaks for spreading doctrine either, but would for helping others (including upholding human rights).

    However if Christian groups get support for spreading doctrine then atheists should as well.

    To put it in perspective for Christians, would you support tax breaks for spreading Islamic doctrine - I wouldn't.
