I'm with Ranghora, DD and a few others on this.
if it is the 12th October and we haven't seen an annc this morning, then most likely after mkt today/overnight in the press for everyone to digest the deal and the details.
Issue of new shares and shareholder approval may be required, regardless as these things take time and dates need to be set (timetable), should not stop MBN from trading ASAP/tomorrow. if they continue to suspend it, that's a load of BS and the ASX have got it wrong.
still recall something similiar with BBG (Billabong), when the deal was announced with Centrebridge Oaktree subject to shareholder approval, etc... did not prevent it from coming back on trading.
Terrible news for FGE and its shareholders and employees/contractors over the last 24hrs, very piss poor stuff from ANZ to not prolong the process further with one of the 8-10 parties including competitors that were in the dataroom.
