What is it about consolidation that gets everyone so jumpy? If you have 2 billion shares on issue at 2c and consolidate to have 200 million shares on issue at $0.20 what is the difference? None. You still have the same investment percentage of the company and value you had pre-consolidation. The only caveat is companies that consolidate are often in trouble through too many cap raisings. I think that is the only reason consolidation often leads to a lower price.
