that is the issue here. a lot of posters talk about companies, it's balance sheet, and it science (sorry doc) or its resource in ground etc but nobody wants to talk about management performance. if someone wants to raise questions on management performance, some really venomous posts are presented in response by select few.

imo- doesn't matter how good a resource is or how sound it's science is a company is only as good as its management. if there are good, forward looking people managing an average company, it can make big. on the other hand an average person can easily erase any value that a company could have.
