There was no way BIT was ever worth 44c. BIT at best should have maybe risen to 10c on the news and it should never have been under 2c.
Biotech has the greatest need for patient capital and yet it is funded by hot money and newbies. It used to be exactly the same in the junior mining sector (and still is to a large extent), but the industry recognised that allowing hype and traders to totally run the show resulted in a sub-optimal outcome for those companies trying to grow. In the end the JORC requirements helped stopped the worst P&D scams.
