Justis in Asia they were testing everyone at the airports with temperature monitors! Very effective.....
Taiwan has a similar population to Australia and has not locked down!
Lock down has been proven to be an extreme reaction.
Taiwan took an active approach to protect it's citizens based on previous experience with SARS and MERS outbreaks, whilst banning flights from Wuhan in China and monitoring all other Chinese tourists at the airports with temperature monitors. Further the Taiwanese Government gave all school children free Face Masks and Hand sanitiser to use and educated parents about keeping children at home if sick or running temperature. Only 1 death in Taiwan and not many cases of infection otherwise. Very high use of face masks that the country produces 10 million per day and keeps them at low cost of .17c each so everyone can afford to buy them Cost to their economy very minimal so far and way below Australia's current bill of $200 Billion and rising, not to mention the hit to so many businesses shut down who may never recover!
South Korea population 51 Million has not gone into severe lock down, instead ramped up testing and monitoring of it's citizens providing free drive through testing! Very effective....
Japan no severe lockdown.....
Sweden no lockdown...
They have taken a different approach whilst the Australia puts our economy to sleep and stops people going to the gym and the beach!
