So it comes across to me that people use these forums as some form of Unity of Hope.

This is what I find, it is better to do your own analysis of the chart and base your decision on that, not the emotions that come out in these forums. Remember that your not going to be right all of the time and admit it when your wrong or it can be very expensive.
