Do we have any support for the idea that tungsten (wolfram) Is scarce ? Last time I looked there's quite a lot of large resources which could Be brought into (or are being brought into) production.. If it was scarce why would there be so many potentially economic (and quite large scale) options around the world ? If scarce supply and strategic needs were at risk of becoming epidemic Wouldn't the price be consistently higher ? Wouldn't the very large resources be in play rather than relatively ineffectual boutiques ? Wouldn't capital be tripping over itself to get in ? Would it have cost 10 million to lose 2-3 mill yoy, to demonstrate a slim chance of success for a radical change in viability ? No, dunno, not sure, yes, probably not.. My answers fwiw
