Transfield is playing hard ball with Ferrovial..

I reckon if they continue to do so……Ferrovial may shift focus to UGL..

Ferriovial is sitting on $1.6b euros of cash and is very keen to expand into Australia. It ran a ruler over leighton’s john Holland business back in October and walked away from bidding for it…

Transfield and UGL are very similar businesses / competitors….and UGL’s market cap right now is a third of Transfields……anyway this will be an interesting space to watch over the next few weeks!
