@dirtangel; thanks for the clarification of your views about 'herd immunity'.

We toured China in 2004 and have Chinese Australians friends who've maintained contact with family and friedns in China. Although they love to return for visits and are proud of the 'Chinese Economic Transformation Story' they call Australia 'home' because they enjoy our freedom of expression, chopice and movement.

Unlike some Australians though and with some notable exceptions, they understand collective community responsibility, self-discipline for the greater good and strategic thinking.

Then we have the likes of Peter Dutton wandering Australia while infected after not being checked and not self-isolating on his return from visiting Donald Trump and a PM who steadfastly refused to self-isolate after interacting with him. We also have those bozos taking selfies at Bondi while violating Morrison's call to avoid crowds of more than 500 and the cruise ship passengers from the Ruby Princess wandering the streets of Sydney without reporting back to the incredibly stupid authorities who let them disembark without either beign checked or quarantined.
