Poor production numbers won't cause the price to rally. Higher sale prices for coal will cause the price to rise. If we get a bumper stocking season into Christmas, this could have a positive impact on share price that outweighs any potential negative impacts from lower than anticipated production numbers (and/or higher costs of extraction).
