I use to worry about everyone.
The problem was the shorters are not worried about the company,WM,Cloncurry and def not you,me or my family.
If a million shares are shorted and with the use of bots etc the price is pushed down $3 then the shorters have made 3 million dollars.
If we have 150 million shares as far as Im concerned shareholders have lost 450 million dollars and it dilutes the company a lot more when raising money.
It was stopped with the GFC as there was a big risk of pushing more companies to the wall and if it was not good for Australian companies then it is still no good and should be stopped.
If there was no shorting there would be no need to worry about bots and manipulation as the best way to make money would be to find good companies and back them in.
Not do your best (big boys) to destroy the company and a all the small shareholders with it.
