Some people are saying that WZR will see a big increase in customers as JobKeeper winds down and people are trying to make ends meet. I’d caution that WZRs model is to actually avoid these type of borrowers. Those borrowers are a far riskier proposition that those whose income hasn’t been impacted by COVID. I’d much prefer WZR keeps focusing on offering finance to strong applicants with stable income streams as that will keep arrears low. If you’re lending with any volume to applicants with a large degree of uncertainty around their future income you’re asking for trouble.
Really interested in this stock and would love to enter, car loans could be a huge opportunity.
