Dear Imho,
I highly appreciate your view because it is possible that retail investors are the last resort. I wish that I was in the board meeting. However, why did not the board fix the offer price for the SPP? This is a strange strategy, in particular, the board knows that the market sentiment on Lynas is negative. Does the board know "something" that we do not know?
I think that the board is trying to please retail investors and give pressure to large investors to average down their holding costs during pricing period or after SPP.
This is my personal opinion and assessment. Gain or loss is in your own hands. Let us wait and see on Monday.
