Towie got burnt with Opes, I got burnt with Sonray. It makes you think. Certainly in the case of Sonray it was criminal theft (I can say that because a director is in jail). The one thing they had in common was pooled holdings. If you are getting CHESS holding statements you should be right But I want to trade other than plain vanilla.
I currently have an account with Interactivebrokers and it too has pooled accounts. If you search their web site for "guarantee" it looks impressive but Sonray had a bank guarantee (Saxo) too: Just not for fraud.
I'm sitting on cash and frankly, I don't know how to invest it.
