If the (US) right was as rigid in its thinking as the left then Trump would have never won the nomination. The US right have realised that the old right/left mentality has been replaced by nationalist/globalist and embraced somebody who is anti Wall St, anti free trade deals etc.
If the US left had embraced the same mood for change and actually had the guts to stare down Hillary and let Bernie run then they may now be celebrating instead of sooking.
Bernie and Trump, even Jill Stein shared common ground, Hillary had common ground with nobody.
I hope the Democrat base use this defeat as the impetus to wrest back control of the party from those who have always been looking out only for themselves.
