My interpretation is that Yum want to focus on the franchise system and let others run the stores. With a proven corporate franchisee like CKF, they obviously have the confidence that the operator won’t damage the franchise brand.
I think it’s great news and points to CKF being a preferred partner, boding well for future deals in other countries and building even more scale for CKF.
