Dettol kills viruses it has been tested on, it can't be claimed it does on viruses it hasn't been tested on. But of course only briefly, not 30 days etc.
However the method of killing viruses is the use of ethanol evaporating to burst the virus cell. So yes it is very likely to kills COVID-19 but can't be claimed even if it has been tested against SARS (other Coronavirus).

ZNO kills viruses by the 'spikes' of the molecule bursting the virus cell.
It can claim to kill viruses for 30 days it has been tested on,it can't be claimed it does on viruses it hasn't been tested on for 30 days.

The extrapolation is equally valid for both Dettol & ZNO, claiming one but not the other is contradictory.
ZNO products are not the only ones that are effective against COVID-19, currently tested or not.

The differentiation is ZNO is water based (alcohol free) & longer lasting than Dettol, there is a market for both.
