I don't think it's up to ASX to review if details are accurate or not in this context, just as JK said in his email.

It's not that hard for anyone who's been closely following this to see what's happening here: ASX wants the market to form a certain opinion of ISX and is using it's resources to make that happen.

I'm surprised though, that the AFR guys haven't published ISX's response (which I doubt they wouldn't have seen).
