1) How is other people subscribing to SPPs a bad thing? The pool of funds in the total SPP does not change. And whats wrong with selling for a quick profit?
2) Making up fake companies? Really? How much does it cost to set up a company vs using a service like On Market Bookbuilds to increase the spread? Customer/shareholder acquisition is expensive but not nearly as expensive as setting up a company!
3) ASX makes money on IPOs - Yes. But guess who makes more? Brokers. Here's a recent one
