China has stolen Myanmar. They have been manipulating Myanmar for over a decade. Burmese generals have always been for sale. Hence the Rohingya forced exodus. Similar to the Chinese sh!t-list activity against their own muslims.
I suspect the only hope for Myanmar is an ASEAN invasion and restoration. Early days but I don't have a lot of confidence in that happening.
