Don't believe what you say for a second mate. while im not suggesting all these groups are 'moderate'. They are (on the whole) Syrian. its become more complex over time but it certainly was an uprising in the beginning. only the Syrian government would have the means to launch chemical attacks. In fact the munitions used were Russian made and 'probably' manufactured in Syria the report says, bearing in mind the UN dancing around Russian sentiment being careful not to blame them (they don do anything wrong remember). So what happens? They say it might be rebels. Yeah of course it was! The pictures of dead kids tells its own story irrespective of which side they're on. Assad like many of these tin pot leaders is an absolute tyrant. to paint him as a victim with the brave Russians sticking up for him is garbage. Russia just don't want a western friendly leader in place there so will back him to prevent that as part of their wider interests.
