ISIS Wouldn't be stupid enough to take on Turkey. Turkey has the best trained army in the region. Lebanon is the next likely target. Turkey has all it's tank and most of the army personal at the border ready to pounce on ISIL. Turkey hasn't joined the fight as yet, due to the deal it made with ISIL on the release of the 43 diplomats ISIL had kidnaped from the Turkish Embassy in Iraq and released to Turkey on the condition Turkey stays out of it. The other reason Turkey is not helping the Kurds is the big issue of the PKK . Turkey says why should we help The Kurdish people and arm them when all this is over, they might turn the weapons we gave them back onto us.
Turkey is a lovely place to visit and the people very friendly. They are more civilised then Iraq and in the last 10 years has grown into a more European lifestyle. Most are Muslims but they also respect other religions. My view is If ISIL did try to take any town or city in Turkey. Turkey will wipe ISIL off the map quickly.
