Mate, muslims have been killing each other in the name of Islam long before America was around.. Every few years Sunnie muslims have formed a new group and started killing some other group again. Or one of the Islamic states has decided to wage war on another one, or the muslims have decided to have a civil war.
The west doesnt need to get involved to start any of it, its been happening non stop for well over 1,000 years.
