isit possible the aussies are using heavy bats

It is more difficult to draw a heavy Bat away from a good Ball than is the case with a Light Bat, therefore it seems possible a lot of thinking about this is needed by the Aussies, some of who may be on Contract to use certain Bats and I Think that Ponting is in that Boat and now given his age he should possibly go for a lighter Bat.
I remember about Five years or so ago a newspaper article which expounded the fact that the Bat he was about to use on an English Tour was very heavy and close to the limits in Weight and size. Another thing . I've noticed is the Bat backlift of most Aussie Batsmen is not that high and this tends to be the case when a heavy Bat is used.
