    I've been doing some quick scanning of the stuff been written here the last few days and... well, no one has changed their mind, has he?

    I was talking to a Belgian woman a couple of weeks ago who, in a group of five or six of us, exclaimed, "our religion is alive." No need to tell you what religion she thought she was because the notion that one's religion is "alive" belongs to every religious person. The fervour with which this lady called it out though worried me enormously. Obviously, all other religions are "not alive" and "we had better tell 'em so!"

    Self-rightousness begats fools.
