gunay7, please note that no fatwa was issued against the Christian who became a Muslim, there is no law demanding he die because he converted. He was free to choose, free to use the free will Allah gave him, as you have told us. In any Muslim country any Muslim who converts puts his life at risk, he has no free will. I am sure that fear keeps many bound to the various sects within Islam as muslim intolerance extends even to Muslim sects.

    Also you say:

"The time has come to think about the embarrassing differences between the Gospels, from which there is no way out except to admit that they have been tampered with and the wording and meaning has been distorted."

That tampering you mention is an assertion Muslims make. An assertion is nothing except an opinion. The Gospels have been scrutinised for hundreds of years so you are free to PROVE your assertion. So prove it. Note however we are not allowed to say anything negative about the prophet (and koran?) otherwise all hell will break loose with riots and death on the streets simply because someone critises the prophet. Contrast that with the Christan reponse to criticism of Jesus.

I pity you, trapped as you are.
