We're not saying ignore or deny at all, we're saying make our institutions responsible for our security work properly and hold them to greater public account for not doing so.

Our Police are doing their job by bringing alleged offenders before our courts; not just radicalised Islamists but wife beaters, rapists and those into white collar fraud. But it's all downhill from there as our courts seemingly reflect neither public values nor respect our expectations.

We need to fix the processes and structures that are allowing atrocities ranging from repeated drunk driving, the ongoing violence against women, child abuse in churches and those linked to radicalised Islamists such as in Martin Place.

But violating our own principles and values through denial of freedom of speech and the victimisation of those whose views we find offensive is another matter altogether.

Of course any solution has to take place in stages as you cannot focus on draining the swamp when you are are to your bottom in blood-thirsty alligators...

The first necessary step is a complete halt to all moslem immigration into Australia for whatever reason along with extensive welfare/disability screening...

Then we need to identify and get control of the current collection of radical islamic extremists and either deport or maintain an extensive program of monitoring as they represent a clear and present danger to our communities...
Think current sexual predator monitoring and control as an example of what could be done with dangerous islamic extremists...

Then we need to get a better control of the mechanism for radicalization which appears to be the mosques and madrasses...

The program will take a number of years Australia may serve as providing leadership to the rest of the western world in how to tackle and get under control a large and significant potentially dangerous moslem population...
