Island Pharmaceuticals are eligible to be awarded a Priority Review Voucher (PRV) from the FDA. The PRV will grant them an accelerated six month review of a drug application by the FDA.
Better yet, the voucher is transferable making it highly valuable to drug development companies.
The Phase II clinic trials will be pivotal to success and in approx 6-9 months we should know the results. Very intriguing.
