The only issue with the vaccines currently in development is the low efficiency.
From seven clinical trials including 36,371 participants there was an estimated efficiency of 44%. If you take that figure and apply it to the rest of the population it leaves 56% of the population susceptible to dengue.
The fall back option of that 56% is hopefully going to be ISLA-101.
