Just curious if you read the abstract of the letter your link referred to yttrium.
The bit i liked is the part of the where they say that the east antarctica is losing mass at a rate of -57 Gt per year plus or minus 52 Gt per year. So their margin of error is almost as big as their significant finding.
Hmmm objective science at work i guess. . .
