if you look at the deal, it is structured towards adding additional reserves. AOE is very keen to book these extra reserves that will underpin their investment decisions on their current planned 1.5mtpa LNG trains (Golar/LNG Ltd venture) and any future trains they look to add through their partnership.
It has been talked about on HC for sometime that AOE may have wanted to 'takeover' the BPT stake in Tipton West; which interestingly Arrow only sold to them a few years ago.
Now every body is happy.
