NS the 38m new shorts yesterday says a lot as to why our sp only went to 84c. That's 25% of the massive 152m volume.
Of course these wont necessarily add directly to the cumulative shorts as other positions may have been closed out yesterday. But still at least 25% of the trades were aimed at capping the sp.
Today looks like being no different.
The market cannot stay irrational for ever, value & fundamentals eventually must prevail.
